Indian Wedding in Ravello – Amalfi Coast
by Francese Photography
This beautiful multiethnic couple, he Indian and she African, living in England and already parents of a wonderful child, chose Ravello on the Amalfi Coast to celebrate their civil wedding in Italy.
The ceremony took place at the Ravello City Hall, accompanied by the delicate sound of harp and mandolin, creating an intimate and authentic Italian atmosphere. After the ceremony, the newlyweds and their guests enjoyed a simple and intimate lunch at a charming restaurant that is also a renowned cooking school in Ravello.
An Intimate and Authentic Celebration
The bride and groom prepared separately in two cozy three-star hotels in Ravello, embracing a relaxed and genuine approach to their wedding day. The decorations were intentionally minimal: a beautiful bouquet, simple floral arrangements, and elegant centerpieces, allowing the emotions and the setting to speak for themselves.
No local wedding planner was involved in the organization of the event; instead, a dear friend of ours acted as the officiating celebrant, making the ceremony even more personal and meaningful.
A Memory We Will Always Cherish
We hold a very special memory of this couple. Their kindness and warmth truly touched our hearts. After the wedding, they even sent us a small gift by mail—two glowing necklaces—as a thank-you for being their photographers. A simple gesture that perfectly reflected who they are.
This wedding was a beautiful example of how love, simplicity, and cultural diversity can come together to create an unforgettable destination wedding experience in Ravello.
