Civil Wedding at Hotel Palazzo Murat, Positano
by Claudia Francese
This sparkling couple traveled all the way from Norway to celebrate their civil wedding in Positano, in the heart of the Amalfi Coast.
The day was filled with peace, serenity, and joy, a joy that reminded me of a dear friend who has truly changed my life—thank you, Rosanna.
Ceremony at Santa Maria Assunta
The wedding ceremony took place in the iconic church of Santa Maria Assunta, a breathtaking location that perfectly embodies the charm and history of Positano.
Every moment of the ceremony was intimate and full of emotion, reflecting the couple’s happiness and the uniqueness of their day.
Reception at Hotel Palazzo Murat
The celebration continued at the elegant Hotel Palazzo Murat, located in Positano’s main square, surrounded by the picturesque streets and Mediterranean charm.
The couple chose a relaxed approach to photography, enjoying their day fully without dedicating too much time to formal photos.
We captured natural and spontaneous moments—stolen kisses, laughter between dances, and glimpses of joy during the aperitif—allowing their happiness to shine authentically.
Italian/Norwegian Wedding Details
Unlike many destination weddings, this couple arranged everything themselves, without a local wedding planner.
All the floral decorations were created by a Positano-based florist, adding elegance and color to the reception and spaces throughout the day.
A Day to Remember
The wedding was a perfect celebration of love and joy, marked by authenticity, simplicity, and elegance.
Capturing these intimate moments as a photographer was an honor, and the memories of this day will remain forever.
